This Gentleman Mr John ffarrell is one in our order to bee aprehended & brought to Dublin, from the High Court of Justice, but these are to minde you that in the close of all the examinations, or the brife of them by which that order was drawen, you will finde this Gentleman had noe hand in the murder but onely it was desired hee might bee spoke with all, but yet notwithstandinge it was thought ffit hee should bee sent for now Sir vpon his importunety & haueinge ernest ocasion with Levtenant Generall ffarrell his Brother, maior Richardson & I haue taken the bouldnesse to give him leaue to goe to Dublin, wheare hee will stay till Maior Richardson come with the prisoners, which I hope willbee within a few dayes, & I hope wee shall give a good accoumpt, of which wee weare intrusted with all; Sir because you will heare more at Large very sodenly I haue spared to trouble you at this Instant with any particulars. I pray Sir let this Gent haue all civell respect may bee, for I am Confident thers nothinge against him, & by those pags which hee hath kept & now deliuered vnto vs, is as much as wilbee desired of him, & by the examinations of seuerall witnesses it appeares hee hath beene exceedinge kinde to the English & deserues much respect for it, I know Sir you may fauor him in gettinge him discharged with all convenient speed after the prisoners are come to you which I & ernestly desire your fauor in which I know you will the rather doe when you see the examinations, which with all speede shalbee sent vnto you which is all but to assure you I am
