The examinacion of Tirlagh mc Mahon of Clonkelly in the Com of fermanagh taken before us Sir Ri Bolton knight Lord Cha: of Ireland and Sir Gerr. Lowther knight &c 2do Nouem 1641
<H> This examinant saith that hee was sent by his father to receiue some money six pounds of Redmund mc Hugh at the Navan which hee ought his father, and that not meeting with Redmund mc Hugh there hee heard that the said Redmund was gone to Dublin with his Cattle to sell and thereupon he travailed towards Dublin, and saith that before hee came to the Navan hee mett with the Lord Magwire beyond the Cabragh in the Com of Cavan and did ride along in his Lordshipps Companie to the Cabragh <J> and that night his Lordshipp lay at the howse of Thomas ffleminge and this Examinant and one Patricke Conoly Laye at an Inne in the said Towne of Cabragh And that the next day on Thursday in the afternoone hee came to Dublin and left his horse at the signe of the white horse at Stony Booter and that night Laie at a wyddowes howse in Bridgstreete. and that on friday night hee was at the Lord Maguires Lodginge in Castlestreete. And that vpon Saturday morneinge <K> beinge about to goe out of Towne came to the Bridge gate but could not gett out wherevpon hee retourned back againe to his Lodginge and thence went to Charles Kinselagh his howse in Winetaverne Streete where hee with one Coconnaght Maguire
