The Examynacion of Patt: MaGwyre of Bally[ ] Kilmantane in the Com of ffermanagh Taylor taken before vs, the 3d of 9ber 1641
<K> Whoe saith that he liued formerlie in Kilmantane aforesaid with his Married wife, whoe is now dead And since his said wifes death, he did goe vpp and downe, the Countrie, to seeke for worke, And in his travell Came to the Cittie of dublin aboute 8 of the Clocke on friday the 22th of 8ber Last hopeing there, to l earne to better his trade better, And saith that the Night before he Lodged some 5 miles from the said dublin where he made for his hoste a payre of <L:> stockins, And further saith that he knoweth not the Name of the towne where he soe lodged nor the name of him for whome he made the said stockins; & saith that he had noe weapons aboute him, only his taylors sheares and a pockett knife, And beinge demaunded, whether, he knew any thinge of the Consperacie, discouered, denieth to know any thing And further saith not.
