The Examynacion of Daniell Brady of Lisnageere in the Com of Kavan gent taken before vs the 8th of 9ber 1641
<Z> Who saith, That he hath liued at Lisnagere aforesaid being his owne freehould , for the space of 9 yeares past, And that he Came to the Cittie of Dublin on thursday friday the [ ] 22th of 8ber last aboute one of the Clocke in the afternoone; And saith that his buissines to towne, then, was, his ffather, haueinge a proporcion of 3 pole of Land graunted vnto him of plantacion land <A> there This Examynants ffather, did Mordgadge one of the said poles of Land, to Sir William Hill, And that this Examynant at Easter last did proffer, his Maiesties rent at Ea in the receipte for the said 2 pole of Land in his posession, but it woulde not be excecepted, in regarde the Examynant woulde not pay the rent for the said pole which the saide Sir William Hill had in his posession
<B> And his said ffather beinge attatched for the said Rent, by a pursuant, this Examynant came to peticion against the said Sir William Hill to the Lords Justices, to Compell the said Sir William to pay for the said pole of Land which he had, as aforesaid

<C> And the Next Morninge after cominge to towne, this Examynant was apprehended, And this Examynant further saith that his said ffather, beinge restrained by the said pursuant, in the Goale of Kavan, for his Maiesties said Rent, and the pursuants fees, Richard ashe Esquire at the quarter Sessions this Examynant vndertakinge to pay the said Rent,) did enlardge his said ffather and further saith that his Maiesties said Rent is not yett payd, And further saith not,
