The examinacon of william Leonard Sutton Master of the Barque called call the John of waterf{ord} taken before mee the Day aforesaid
Hee beinge dulie Swoarne on the Holie Euangelest and examine{d} <Y> saith that being boarded by Clement Sutton Master of the Bark{e} and others of wexford on the 28o this instant, the said Cleme{nt} said hee expected the retorne of the said barque from Dublin and that hee heard from one that came from Dubline, that the said bark{e} was laden with Amunicion and victualls for the foarte of Don{cannon} and there serched and Rifled the said Barke thinkinge t{o} haue gott Amunicion and victualls but founde none, and s{aith} that when this examinat saw the said Barkes making tow{ardes} theme indeauored to make to Sea but were becalmed and w{ere} becalmed and were in the midle way betweene Tusker and Gre{enord} when the said Boates ouer tooke them
