Job Ward saith sworne & examined sayth that he
Itt was Tould me by one Garratt Nee glann Beirne And Peter Brimigham a Preist when I he was in Captiuity amoungst them (That one Mr Nicolas Barnwell who Married the Countes of Tirconnell, giues the best and Truest intelligence outt off England And is verie intimattly acquainted with some that are neere The Queene who assure him that none of the kings ships will apeare vppon these Coasts vntill that a Munition which the Irish daylie expect out of ffraunce And Spaine be first come to them, to which or the Like purpose, I haue he the Examinant hathe seene letters signed (Noco: Barnwell) which Brimingham The Preist aboue Named Tould me in a pleasent Manner (That was [Lambe?] Nick:) his Intelligence
