The examinacion of William Hilton esquire one of the Barons of his Majesties Court of Exchequer taken vppon oath at the Board
<a> The said Baron Hilton saith that the certaine time hee remembreth not but thincks it was about three quarters of a yeare agoe doctor Bote [ ] came to the examinant and would have had the examinants hand to some petition or writing which hee <b> did not shewe to the examinant, but as the examinant takes it, hee then tould the examinant it was a petition to the parliament of England for expelling all Papists out of the Cittie of Dublin, and that the examinant <c> tould him the said Bote that hee would not signe any such thing vnlesse all the Judges of the land did joine therein for that it would have been held great
