<d:> The examinat being sworne saith that he is son to marcus owgan of killtaghan in the county of kildare and being a poore fearefull yowth for being in feare of his lyfe by reason of the approach of the kings army about three dayes before the taking the castle of Rathcoffy fled thither and did no act of violence against the kings army there: and further cannot depose
