The examinacion of Mathew Hussy of Rathcoffy taken before mee William Hilton one of the Barrons of his Maiesties cowrt of excequer the fift day of July 1642
<r> The examinat saith That he to was borne at Rathcoffy and hath Lived there these eight yeares past where he kept an alehowse and went into the Castle the same day it was taken, being afrayd of the kings arny army and say [he] saw Captayne Thomas dongane and Captayne Gilbert Tallbot. and divers of the walshes goe severall tymes vnto the Castle of Rathcoffy since the battell of killrush where they were releeved. and further cannot depose
