The Examinacion of Patrick Mullhaly husbandman taken the day and yeare aforesaid
<e> Who being examined and sworne to so much as concerneth others saieth that he hath beene a sickly man this two yeare, and liued at the beginning of these troubles with Richard Jordan churchman at Ballibritt but when Mr Jordan left it he went away like wise from thence and went to liued in the towne of Clongowes wood where he hath liued euer since and seldome went into the castle untill the morning that the english army came thither He further saith that the common speech report of the towne country was that George Barnewall Roger Barnewall James Bo Barnewall were all three at the robbory of the englishman that was killed, and that he sawe them returnin comming back boasting and reioycing at it as they came back from the robbory, and that he sawe in the companies of the said Barnewalls as they were comming back from the robbory, Thomas Holliwood Dominick Cullen and Nicholas Eustace, and ffurther sayeth not.
