The Examinacion of William ffogerton aged 24 years or therabouts taken the day & year within written.
<B> The said Examinante sworne & examined saith: that he heard of an Englishman that was taken att Brittas & brought from thence by James o Mayra & others to a place within a myle of Brittas aforesaid, but wher he was murthered but saith that he did not see him befor he was brought to that place, being asked, who murthered him, & who was present att his murther he saith Henry Archer Edmond Roshanan & Eddmond Hanraghan as he thinketh were the cheife actors in his death, and that he this Examinant John Magher, perswaded them not to kill him, being demaunded whether Thomas Grace ther Ensigne was then present or not, he saith he was; and that it was by his orders that he was executed: & further deposeth not And ffurther saith that Thomas Raster & his wife of Oldtowne told Ensigne Grace that ther was an English man who was ther Enemy which had a sword <C> & a pistoll & was att Brittas, which the said Ensigne related to his soldiers then vnder his Comaund who thervpon went to Brittas and seised vpon him & executed; & further saith not
