August. 12. 1642.

It is the Opinion of the Committee that there be given to the one hundred and Nintee Ministers in the province of Leinster two thousand two hundred and fourescore pounds. To {the} One hundred and fifty ministers in the Province of Mounster, one thousand and eight hundred pounds. To the threescore ministers in the Province of Conaught seven hundred and fourescore pounds. To one hundred and ten ministers in the Province of Ulster one thousand three hundred and twenty pounds. The said several sommes making up six thousands one hundred and fourescore pounds, beeing to each of the said ministers one with another twelve pounds, thereout deducting and allowing for widdowes and Orphans of ministers.
It is also the Opinion of the Committee that there be given to the distressed Ladys and Gentlewomen residing in Dublin who are petitioners, the somme of six hundred pounds.
It is further the opinion of the Committee that there be given to the Inferior sort of poore English protestants in the City of Dublin beeing about three thousand and two hundred the somme of two thousand and two hundred pounds besides one thousand pounds formerly paid unto them. To the said sort of Poore in Corke, Kinsale, Dunnerayle, Tallough, Lismore, Karry, and Thomond, within the Province of Mounster, One thousand pounds. To the poore in Athlone, Rosscomman, Elphyn, Abbey Boyle and in other parts of the province of Conaught, six hundred pounds. To the said sort of Poore in Birh, Leix, Munstareven, Tinterne, and about Duncannon in the Province of Leinster, five hundred pounds. To the poore in the towne of Antrim in the province of Ulster where they are to the number of one thousand persons the somme of five hundred pounds. To the said sort of poore in Carigfergus, Belfast, and in other parts of the County of Downe in the said Province, where they are to the number of two thousand persons, the somme of One thousand pounds. The whole to the said Inferior sort of English protestant of poore within the foure provinces of Ireland beeing five thousand and eight hundred. The said several respective sommes to the protestant poore of all sorts in that whole Kingdom ammounting vnto twelve thousand five hundred and fourescore pound.
It is also the Opinion of the Committee, that Dr Jones Agent for the said Poore shall give in to the Committee the Names of Commissioners to be allowed off for disposing of the said sommes in the said respective places in Ireland according to such further instructions as the said Commissioners shall receive from the Committee: The said Commissioners beeing to returne an accoumpt of theire proceedings in the premises to the Committee and they herewith rep p ort to the or as house or as they shall be required. It is also by the said committee intended that no other poore of the said kingdom shall pertake of the said sommes, but such only as beeing resident in Ireland have not received any contribution in England. It is further the opinion of the Committee that Dr Jones Agent for the said Poore shall receive the said somme of twelve thousand five hundred and fourescore pounds as they shall come in of the contribution money: And that He the said Dr shall and may returne the same into Ireland in peeces of Eight, that by the Benefit of exchang the charge may be defraied of gathering, keeping, shipping, and disposing of certaine thousands of suits of Clothes by the said Dr procured & to be procured for the said Poore: The overplus by the said Exchange (if any shall be) to remaine to the said Dr in consideration of his care, solliciting, and attendance for the said Inferior sort of poore in Ireland, and towards his charges in that Imployment.
