The Examinacion of Ensigne Thomas Grace, aged 28 yeares or therabouts taken the 27th day of August 1652
This examinant duely sworne & examined saith, that Edmond Roshenan and William Hanraghan were the men, that tooke att Brittas the an English man about a week agoe, and within 2 howres after killed him, the cause his knowledge is that he this examinant was in sight within pistoll shott when the said Englishman (whose name he knoweth not) was murthered; Being demaunded who was then present att the taking & murthering of the <A> said English man, he saith William ffogertyne, John o Magher and James o Mayrie, who was the first man that gaue notice to the soldiers that the said Englishman was in Brittas and brought them to the howse wher he was and further saith not
