The Examjnacion of Henry White of Dublin Labourer taken the eleuenth day of January 1652 before James Donellan and Thomas Dongan esquires Doctor Dudly Loftus and Alderman Thomas Hooke Members of the high Court of Justice and by the said Court appointed a Comittee for examjnacions concerning murders and massacres comitted within the Counties of Dublin and wickloe since the xxiijth of october 1641
<A> The said Examjnant beeing of the age of ffifty two yeares or thereabouts and duely sworne vppon the holy Evangelists deposeth and saith he saith that at the begining of the Rebellion hee liued in at Dromban neere Balligarny in the County of wickloe as tennant to Robert Kennedy esquire and saith that hee knew Nathaniell Snapp sometyme seruant to Mr Siluester Kennedy son to the said Robert Kennedy and did allsoe know John Leeson Sheepheard to the Earle of Meath, Hee saith that before the xxvth day of december 1641 hee saw betweene the xxiijth of october 1641 and the xxvth of dec 1641 hee saw the said Snapp and Leeson brought prisoners by some of the soldiers of Collonell <B> Luke Toole and carryed to the towne of Balligarny

Balligarny where hee into hee saw the said Luke Toole goe a little before, And saith that the next morning this examjnant goeing to rec e looke for some of his garrans that were the day before vsed by some of the said Luke Toole men soldiers for Carriage, hee saw the said Snapp and Leeson hanging in two thorne trees neere to Balligarny aforesaid, Hee further saith that (hee heard) that they were hanged by order of the said Luke Toole, And further deposeth not,

The said Henry White is bound in C li. to giue evidence against Luke Toole for the murder aforesaid in the high Court of Justice at Dublin the first day of the sitting of that Court and not to departe thence without licence of that Court &c.
