The Examinacion of Mrs Mary Farrall of Newtowne in the County of Longford taken the 17th of ffebruary 1652
The sayd Mr Mary ffarrall aged 24 yeares being duely sworne and Examined sayth. That at or neere the 10th day of February 1641 she beeing at Castle Towne Moylough at Mr John Wares howse in the County of Meath, she saw one Andrew White now called Capten White, one Christopher Hollowood of Tartaine in the County of Dublin, and one whom they then called ffather Browne, whom this Deponent haue since heard was one Collonell Dowde, and some others whom this deponent knoweth not, come into the foresayd Mr John Wares howse, whom the sayd John Ware vsed very kindly, And this Examinate further sayth That the fore sayd White, and Hollowood, were not aboue an howre in the howse, when she obserued them that they n so sought occations of quarrell aboute a Woolfe Dogg which they pretended was theirs, but the sayd Ware this Deponents father as she obserued, avoyded all occations of quarelling with them; And she further sayth that the aforesayd White and Christopher Hollowood, and ffather Browne, and one moore whose name whom she knoweth not, (which man she heard since shott her sayd father). went out all of them out of the howse with her sayd father into the Court and aboute presently after, she heard a Gunns agoe off, vpon the report of which she ru this deponent runn out and meet her sayd ffather running into the doore, who being before shott with two bullett

there vpon he fell downe at this Deponents feete and died imediately not speakeing a word And she further sayth, That Andrew White aforesayd, with the rest broke open the Stable doore and took away all the horses there, one, whereof, she heard, that the sayd Andrew White Received for his share; And further this deponent sayth not.
