The Examinacion of Malaghlen O Fanegane being likewise duely sworne &c. the Day & yeare aforesaid.
Sayeth, That hee knoweth one Cohonaght o Gowen now prisoner in the Goale <B> of Trym, & that hee heard one Captain Hugh o Rely deceased, say that the said Cohonought Killed the wife of one John Hovy (an English=woman) Living at Crumlin in the County of Kavan, in the first winter of the Warrs, being demaunded where hee this Examinant was at that tyme, hee answered That hee was that tyme, hee answered That hee was forty miles from the place where it was reported that the said woman was slaine at it being neere or aboute Tredah, & further hee deposeth not.
