The examinacion of Nickolas Stafford Esquire taken on the behalfe of the Comonwealth concerninge the aforesaid George Cheeuers
vpon the whole matter of the Interrogaters this deponent sath that the said George did in the first of the warr giue his Consent to the raisinge of two thousand men in this Countye fo of Wexford for the defence thereof, and that the said George did raise parte of one foote Company and was at duncannon with the Irish forces the said first yeare and was allsoe of the Countye Councell <p> in the said first yeare of the warr and tooke the oath of association as this deponent Confidentlye beleiueth and farther this depo po deponent can not depose
