Owen [Breine] of Eniscorthy yeoman
Edward Synnot of Dungulp gent aged about thirtie & one yeares Deposeth concerning the foresaid Nicholas mc Edmond of Rossard gentleman That the said Nicholas dwelt in Rossard in the Countie of wexford <f> in the Irish quarters without remoouing him selfe thence into the english quarters as the seauerall english & protestants in them partes did: And further saith That the said Nicholas did frequently resorte to and had correspondencie with Sir Morgan Cavanagh, the Cheife comander of the forces in them partes, & the prinicipall actor & carryer on of the Rebellyon, & had countenance & releife from the said Sir Morgan, The Deponents cause of knowledge is for that the Deponent was seruant to the said Sir Morgan & dwelling at Clonemullin in the first yeare of the said Rebellyon, & did see the said Nicholas haue recourse to & Countenance from the said Sir Morgan nigh to whom the said Nicholas dwelt, & further saith not
