James Bolger of Killeloge gent aged fortie yeares or thereabouts Deposeth Concerning the foresaid Jesper Connor:
That the said Jesper did Liue in the Irish quarters the whole time of the rebellyon & did vsually Come to vissitt this deponents father & himselfe to whom he was a nigh neighbour And further saith That Imediately before the Lord generall Cromwells Comeing to Wexford or soone after (but whether the deponent certainely remembers not) the deponent did see the said Jesper in Armes in the Company of & vnder the Comand of one Captain Peirce Murchoe an officer of the Irish but in what Capacity the said Jesper acted the deponent <y> knoweth not, In which actings the said Jesper Continued till the Irish of Collonell Cavanaghs Regiment submitted vpon Articles at which submission the deponent did see the said Jesper come in & laie downe (with others) his Armes, and since the said Jesper is gone to Spaine with the Irish of the said Collonells Regiment as this deponent hath credibly heard, and further saith not
