The Examinacion of Roberte Browne taken on behalfe of the Comonwelth concerninge the aforesaid Richard Whittye
<to the 1st interro> this deponent sath that the said Richard liued at balleteage at the first of the warr and since to this day beinge all the warr in the <b> Irish quarters and sath that he might haue remoued himeselfe into the English qua quarters as some English did in the first of the warr
<to the 2 interro> he Can not depose
<to the 3 interro> this deponent sath that the said Richard did actually contrebute to the publicke taxes and <c> subscribe to warrants to raise men and mony for the mantainance of the Irish force in the first yeare of the warr warr
