The examinacion of James Peirce of Ballell gent aged about forty yeares taken vpon oath on the behalfe of the Comonwealth Concerning the said Richard Wadding of Balleumphant gent
<To the 1st Interro> Vpon the whole matter of the Interrogatoryes the deponent saith that he knew that the said Richard dwelled in the County of Wexford in the Irish quarters the whole time of the rebellyon and saith that he hath seen the said Richard in actuall Armes on or about the seacond yeare of the warre, amongst the Irish of the Countrey & did see the said Richard frequently at publicque <f> meetings of the Irish in order to the carrying on of the warre, and further saith that he hath credibly heard & partely to his owne knowledge is certaine that the said Richard was and acted as Leiutenant to his the said Richards Kinsman Collonell Dauid Synnott in the Irish Army and further saith not &c
