The examinacion of Arthur Cheeuers of Ball{ }der gent aged thirty six yeares or thereabouts taken vpon oath Concerning the said James & John Barry
<To th vpon the> whole matter of the Interrogatoryes the examinant deposeth & saith that the said James & John to the best of the deponents knowledge dwelt the whole time of the rebellyon in the County of Wexford in the Irish quarters & from thence did not remooue into the english quarters as diuers protestants did, & the deponent further saith that the said John after the Lord generall Cromwells accesse to Wexford, did betake himselfe into Duncannon forte then defended by the Irish <l> in opposicion to the english forces, where the said John Continued till the said forte was surrenderred to Collonell Cooke the deponents cause of knowledge is for that the deponent did see the said John amongst others of the Irish come out of the said forte vpon the surrender thereof & further cannot depose
