Patricke Wicken of Corroghtloe yeoman aged about fortie foure yeares Deposeth concerning <p> the said Nicholas Stafford of Codstowne gent vizt
That the said Nicholas dwelt at Garriniske in the barronie of Ballaghkeen the first yeare of the Rebellyon And saith that about Hallantide 1641 the said Nicholas came in Companie of one Peirce Synnott & others to the howse and landes of Corroghcloe the estate of Adam Waller a protestant Minister where the Deponents father John Wicken a protestant then dwelte: out of which howse the said Nicholas and his accomplices being Armed with swordes & other weapons in an hostile manner turned the deponents father and himselfe out of the said howse & kept possession thereof & of the seauerall goods & househould stuffe therein, parte of the same bellonging to the said Adam Waller & other parte to this Deponents father & neuer since restored the deponents father eyther to the possession of the said howse or of any goods therein by them taken away His cause of knowledge is for that the deponent was in the said howse & with his father at the time he was turned out of the said howse by the said Nicholas & the Rest of his Confederates, at the time, and

in the manner aforesaid and further saith not onely that he knowes noe cause of his fathers sufferings in that behalfe except it was for that the said Waler & the deponents father were protestants & after that the said Stafford left the said howse & the goods therein with his sonne in law Edmond Synnot of Garriniske then in his Companie & Nicholas Synnot sonne <q> to the said Peirce Synnot who kept the same for some time against the Deponents father & himselfe & the said Waller, & further cannot depose.
