Thomas Mallone of Ballinemoney gentleman aged sixty yeares or thereabouts deposeth Concerning the said James Murcho & Michaell his sonne That the deponent well knew the said James and Michaell & that they dwelt in the middle quarter of Ballaghkeen, neere to the deponents habitacion the first yeare & sometime since of the said rebellyon, And further saith That the said Michaell was for seauerall yeares togeather of the said rebellyon cheife collector or receiuer of the publicque contribucion in the said middle quarter of Ballaghkeene for pay of the Irish forces that were then in Armes against the english, The Deponents cause of knowledge <a> is for that the deponent paid his proporcion of the said publicque leuyes to the said Michaell or to the subcollectors that had warrants vnder the said Michaells hand for the receiuing of the said leuyes from the Inhabitants of the said middle quarter, which warrants this deponent did see & further saith not &c
