John Keating of Baldenstowne gent aged thirtie one yeares or thereabouts being duelie sworne & examined by uertu{e} of his oath vpon the whole matter of the Interrogatoryes concerning the withinsaid Jesper Prendergast gent deceased
Deposeth & saith That the said Jesper did actually contribute his person in Armes in the first yeare of the Rebellion for the Irish against the english & that hee the said Jesper was one of the partie of the Irish that killed Leiutenant Treuisoe and a partie of english out of, & bellonging to the forte of Duncannon & at the said killing the said Jesper Receiued a wound an hurt with a push of a pike wherewith he was throwne from his horse & with the said wound hurt soe bruised that he neuer recouered <q> himselfe perfectly thereof till his death The deponents cause of knowledge is for that he the examinant went afterwardes to visit the said Jesper & hath been in Company with the said Jesper & hath heard him Complaine of the said wound bruise receiued in manne{r} aforesaid & further cannot depose &c
