Melcher Stafford of Wexford gentleman being sworne & examined touching the aforesaid Christopher Turner
Saith That the said Christopher Turner lived in the towne of Wexford Anno 41 & all the tyme of the Rebellion till hee dyed being the Irish quarters, & saith That the said Christofer was a Captain of the trayned bands raised & formed <a> after the Rebellion with & by the Inhabitants of the said towne, & ledd a Company the first yeare of the warrs & seuerall yeares after till hee was killed or drowned in the said towne which was about the tyme the Lord Cromwell stormed the said tow towne, ffurther cannot depose
