The Examination of Peirce Boyton, taken the 6o of November 1652.
Sayth that hee was nott Leiut: to the Company in Cashell, when Phillip Odwyre of Dundrom Enterd the said Citty, butt was made Leiut: about two months after . his Capt: was patricke Boyton, & his Ensigne was Robert Boyton, now in restraint. hee sayth <A> that hee knoweth nott whoe killed any of them that were murthered there, nor whoe were the plunderers, hee sayth that one Little mayd was killed by one Donnogh Odwyre one the way as hee this Examinant with his brother patricke Boyton, and Robert Boyton did Convoy the English from Cashell. and sayth that hee Neuer heard of any other person that was killed by The said Convoy. and further he sayth nott.
