William Higgins of Castlyons in the County of Corke yeoman beinge duely sworne and examined deposeth and sayth that John Higgins sonne to this deponent beinge of the Earle of Barrymore his Troope <A> and beinge att Coole quarter, he knoweth that there was murdered att Coole twenty five persons or there abouts whose Corps he did see the next morneinge after, and was tould by Andrew Lasy (one of the Troopers that was att Coole quarter and left there for dead) but after wards recovered that they had quarter promised and therevpon deliuered them vpp theire Armes but were was murdered afterwards as abouesayde and that he heard by the sayde Lasy that John Condon & Richard Condon of Ballydergyn were there & many others And further saythe not
