The Examinant being farther demanded saith positiuely vpon his oath that mc ny crimin was upon Kill varrig hill the time when mc Carty was there & Burroughes brought before <B> him! and he deposeth that he neuer heard any cause why they hangd the said Burroughs &c. but that he was an Englishman and this Examinant being farther demanded, saith that he neuer, that heard it reported, by any that Burroughes intended to steale away from mc ny Crimin, or that he gaue any Intimaticion or Intelligence to the English, while he was in his Custody, nor did this Examinant heare, that the said Burrough’s wife Or any of his Children did any such thing, and this Examinant saith that mc ny Crimin Liued in his said Castle for some time after Burroughs was hangd!
