The Examinacion of Captain Abraham Hill taken before vs att Corke the Last day of November 1652
The sayde Capt Abraham Hill beinge duely sworne and examined vpon the holy Evangelist deposeth and sayth, that he well knoweth that one Richard รด Rely and John McWilliam were hanged by Edmond ffennell; as he was informed, and that he well knoweth that the day they were hanged, was the seaventh day of the Cessacion, there being a Cessacion for nyne dayes made with the Lord of Inchiquin and Pursell; and that he veryly beleeueth the sayde Acte was done in or about the begininge of September 1642, the Cause of his knowledge is for that he was Comanded the next day after, to fetch of theire bodies and there he found them buried with three others (vizt) Ensigne Cale, Thomas Clements and James Byrne as he was likewise informed And ffurther sayth that he this deponent was present on Saturday before Shrouetyde in the yeare 1641 when [ ] Robert Waringe
