The examination of dermod ô Shyne Tanner Aged forty yeares or thearabouts deposeth and saith
That hee liued att killineere in Carbary with one Robert Scott at the begining of the rebellion, and aboute Shroftide being workeing in the tann yard, one Captain daniell <A> ô Hahone (since dead) sent aboute twenty of his souldiers, and tooke this deponant and one Mr Minche his sonne and Mr Minches sone they Murthored, butt kept this deponant prisnor, and sent him away to killarny in kerry, butt by the way he passed through mc macrompe wheare he heard many of the people say that one John mac heenis was Ju Just then hanging on which is this deponant asked for what he was hanged they told him that he was a spy and being demaunded whether he knew or heard what officers weare then in the towne, he saith that Coll Crowning was there and some told him that the Lord Muskery was in towne and some told him that he was nott, butt the Certainty he doth not know and farther saith not; only that at the same tyme he was taken as afforsaid his Master Mr Scott, and his wife and three of his daughtier weare murthered by some of the reardanes one of which he heard, who was hanged at Cargadrohid for that facte, butt donogh mc dermot he beleeues can tell who

<B> the parties names that killed them and that John McWilliam oge Reardane now in Prisson at dublin can tell all the parties because the said Reardane liued neere the next house to Scotts, and had and enioyed the most of the said Scotts goods and farther saith nott.
