The Examinacion of donnough mcdearmody of neare kilmurry taken about sixty three yeares old: taken the 14th of September 1652
Sayeth: that aboute ffebruary 1641 this Examinatt well remembreth that Roberte Scott with his wife & three daughters came to this Examinatts house & stayed with him five or six weeks, and after that went with his wife & daughter aforesaid to the house of one William Morfey where they continued seven or eight weeks after, aboute which tyme he heard that the said Scott with his wife & daughters were taken out of the said Murfews house & carried about Muskett shott & there Murthered: And this Examinantt further sayeth that he heard that Phillip O Realigge Teige bege O Relig McShane Realigge Teige O Realige Katherine O Realigge, John mcdaniell O Realigge dearmond McKnougher & donnough McTeige were those that murthered them, of the which donnough mcTeige & Teige O Realigge were hanged by the Lord Muskery for the foresaid Murther: And further sayeth that the said Scott had twelue Cowes & much other household stuffe from this Examinantts house, & carried them with him to the said Morfeys: And further sayeth not:
