<Mallow March the 10th 1653> Deposicions Concerning Edmond Condon of Carriganowncoe in the Barrony of Condons & County of Corke gentleman in the yeare 41
Leiutenant Thomas Mansell of Maccollop in the Barrony of Cossmore & Cossbride & precinct of Corke Aged 40 yeares or thereabouts, beinge Duly sworne and Examined, Saith,
That hee Knew the said Condon to be in Actuall Arme{s} against the English in the yeare aforesaid,
This Deponents cause of Knowledge is, that hee hath seene him seuerall times in Armes with a Party of men with him, and that hee was in the Company of a party of english that beate him & his Party into the Castle of Carriganowneroe aforesaid, The Deponent further saith that the said Condon with his Party tooke from him in the yeare aforesaid by force & Armes, the Number of Seauen hundred sheepe or thereabouts
