William Bellew Gentleman of the Barrony of Coursey of the parish of RingeRone Aged about 38 yeares beinge sworne and Examind saith that hee Liuinge in the parish of RingeRone in the yeare 41
That he knew the said Donnogh oge Carthy Liuinge in RingeRone in the yeare 1641
That hee might haue Remoued into the English Quarters as diuers of the English of his Neighbours did which hee Refused to doe
That hee Remoued into the Irish Quarters and Continued there untill the time of Cessacion
The Cause of this deponents knowledge is that hee Liued uery Neere to him in that yeare and that after the said Carthys goinge forth this deponent had A Custodium granted him of the said Carthyes Estate by the Lord Inchiquin and further saith nott
