John Barry of Ballyclogh in the Barrony of Orrery & County of Corke gent Aged 30 yeares being Duly Sworne & Examined saith,
That the said Dermod mc Shane & Owen his sonne were both in Actuall Armes against the English in the yeare aforesaid
The Cause of this Deponents Knowledge is that hee liuing within a Mile of the said Dermod mc Shanes Residence Knew him & his sonne and obserud, his Actions & knew that the said owen tooke from his the deponent grandfather some Oxen which were slaughtered at Dromineene then a garrison of the Enemies: for provision for that Garrison,
