<Mallow March the 7o 1653> Richard Williamson of Mallow in the County of Corke gent Aged about fforty fiue, being Duly Sworne and Examined Saith that hee liued at Mallow in the yeare 1641
That the said Dermod mcCarthy alias mcDonnogh was in Actuall Armes with the Enemy in the yeare aforesaid The Cause of the Deponents Know
The Cause of this Deponents Knowledge is that hee the Comanded the short Castle at Moyalloe, when it was taken by the Lord of IKerin, and coming out of the said Lord of Castle to Parle with the Enemy Saw the said Dermod mc Carthy amongst the Rest of the officers of that party
