<Mallow March the 7o 1653> Deposicions taken Concerning Donnogh o Callaghane alias o Callaghane Esquire of the Barrony of Duhallow in the County of Corke in the yeare
Thomas Gilborne of Mallow gent Aged 35 [ ] yeares or there abouts beinge Duly Sworne and Examined Saith.
That hee Knew the Said Donnogh รด Callaghane in Actuall Armes against the English
The Cause of his Knowledges is that att the Surenderinge, of the Castle of Mallow to the Lord of Castlehauen, hee saw the said Callaghane amongst the officers of the said Lord of Castlehauens Party.
