<Mallow March the 13o 1653> Deposicions taken Concerning Robert Magner alias Magnor of Castlemagner in the Barrony of Orrery & County of Corke Gent in the yeare 1653
John oge Barry of Ballyclogh in the Barrony of Orrery & County of Corke gent aged 30 yeares beinge duly Sworne & Examined Saith
That the said Magner was in Actuall Armes in the yeare aforesaid Against the English
The Cause of this Deponents Knowledge is, that the said Magners father being then liuing at Castlemagner aforesaid, had his Cattle taken by a party of Irish in which Party the said Magner then was, and the officer that, Commanded the said Party at that time tould this Deponent that the said Magner was the only instrument of perswading him & his Party to take away his fathers & his tennants said Cattle
