<Bandon Aprill 10th 1654> Depositions taken Concerning Donnah McCnogher McPhinen Mahone of the parish of Kilmurry in the Barrony of Musgrow in the yeare: 1641:
William Joanes of Bandon in the County of Corke aged about 50 yeares being sworne & examined saith
That the said Mahone was in actuall Armes in the yeare 1641
The Cause of this deponents Knowledge is that hee sawe the said Mahone in Armes who met him on the High way & offered tooke away his & woulde haue stabbed him, soe that hee hardly Escaped away from him h with his life, & ffurther saith nott
