Depositions taken Concerning Morrish McCelega of Trelee in the County of kery in the yeare 1641 1641
Tho: Dea of the parish of Balifoyle aged about: 40: yeares being sworne and examined, saith in the yeare: 1641 : hee liued in Trelee, & that hee knew the Com said Celega liueing in Trelee as aforesaid in the yeare 1641
That hee bore Armes & Comaunded a Company of men in the said yeare 1641 against the State
The Cause of this deponants knowlege is that hee being in Trelee the said yeare the said Celega Came & beseiged it & tooke it with the English that were therein
That hee knewe also Garrett Mc James & that hee bore Armes the same tyme & was with the said Celega, vpon the same tyme designe
That hee knew Jo: O Tlea at the same tyme & that hee was vpon the Same Action Beareing Armes against the State
That hee knewe Walter Hussy at the same tyme & vpon the same designe Beareing Armes against the State
The Cause of this deponants knowledge is that hee was an eye witness as aforesaid
And further this deponant saith nott
