<Mallow March 7th 1653> Depositions taken Concerninge John Supple att Cragane about a Mile from Ralphgogane in the County of Limbrick in the yeare 1641
Phillip Holmes of Mallow in the County of Corke Gent Aged about 45 yeares beinge sworne and Examined saith that hee Liuinge Liued att Kilbolane in the yeare 41 that hee knew the afforesaid Supple Liueinge as afforesaid the same yeare
That hee was in Actuall Rebellion and that hee had a sonne named John that had Comand of a Company for the Irish which sonne was att the Killing and Murdering of two or 3 English men viz John Hall & John Martine
The Cause of this deponents Knowledge is that hee was then with Coll: Jephson and Lieutenant Douninge when they went to Ralphgogan to Releiue itt which was then beseiged by the Eneimy & Amongst which the afforesaid Supple and his sonne were then principall Actors
