The Examination of Dame ffrancis Dillon the wife of the Lord Dillon Costelogh taken concerneing the murther of John Stibbs & George Dillon before vs whose names are herevnder subscribed The 2d day of May 1653.
<A> The said Lady being duely examined saith that shee doth not knowe any thinge concerneing the death of the said Stibbs & George Dillan onely shee saith that they were condempned by a Court Mashall al as shee heard. and that the same morneing before they were hanged Mris Dexter came to her the said Lady and when shee was in her bedd and acquainted her that George Dillans wife was at the Gate and desired to speake with her Ladyshipp to desire her to helpe to saue the said George, and that the said Lady replyed that shee had nothinge to doe with the said George and further that the said Stibbs and George Dillon were executed about fower of the Clocke in the afternoone as shee heard but shee saith shee did not see them executed
