The Examinacion of William mc Ginn of Lurgan taken May: 2d 1653
Who being duely examined, & sworne sayth that about the seconde of Nouember; when the Lurgan Castle was deliuered vnto Edmond boy mc Glassny mc Gennis; Artt oge mc Glassnye mc Gennis; Toole mc mc Cann, Toole mc Rory mc Cann; with their Companyes of very neere 100 men; in company vpon Quarter which Quarter was nott in any ways observed; b
And this Examinat further sayth thatt vpon a Skirmish thatt passed betweene the foresayd party, & the Inhabitants of thatt Towne, b efore the quarter given to the sayd Castle he saw dead vppon the place John Davys, Leonard Riggs; Richard Richell; [deate?] Thomas the shomaker, and Thomas warde, which were parte killed by the party vnder the Commaunde of the sayd men,
