Whoe beinge Duly sworne and Examined saith that at the tyme of the Massacree in the Isle of Magee hee this Examinant was in this towne of Carrickfergus and knoweth nothinge of the said Massacree other then the Comon Reporte that this Examinants vnkle John Kelly and Hugh Boyde (both Inhabitants of the Isle of Magee) were amoungst other actors in the Murthers Comitted on the Inhabitants of Mullaghdoo (vizt) Teige O Gilmore and most of his famuly, Patricke McIlderg and his family with other two famulyes And this Examinant further saith that hee heard it generally Reported that Robert Glascow killed Teige o Sheale, and being asked what hee knewe of the Murther of Owen Modder Magee and the other persons that were Murthered with him neere vnto this Towne saieth it was the Comon Reporte that one Broadfott and John Elson were principall amoungst those that killed them, and further saith not
