The examinacion of ffinley O Donnell aged 45 yeares or thereabouts taken before vs the 4th day of June 1653:
Who being duely sworne and examined sayth that he was at the Island of Magee, at the tyme of the massacre comitted there vpon the Irish; but heard nothing thereof till the next morning after it was acted; and that he knoweth not any persons or persons that were actors in the sayd murthers, other then by the generall reporte of the countrey, that it was Capten O Dayre and his company then quartered at Ballymanagh (as this examinant heard) were the Principall Actors in the sayd Massacre and further sayth not
