Who saith that he Liued at the begining of the Rebellion in Gallagh being below Castle Reagh in the seruice of Rich: Pearson & at that time there came at seuerall times one Capten Alex: Hamilton with some men vnder his <A> comand who at first disarmed & robbed such Irish as liued thereabouts & afterwards they came with an intention to kill them which this examinant did perceiue whenas the said Capten Hamilton drew neere vnto them againe & did begin w it h his as it were to compass the Irish in & to draw his men into small parties the be ther whereby they might more hardly escape & he saith there was slaine at that time Meue Mulhollan this examinants mother & Margett McLaughlin this examinants sister & Knogher oge Mcildowne & Patt: Moder McIldowne the said Knockers ffather James McLerenan Shane o Cane Neale o Cane Tho: McGabregan & his sonne Tho: Hugh Linader & others whose names he remembers not And being demanded if he knoweth or heard since of such Scotts as were there at that time saith he neither knew nor heard of the names of any that was there but saith he was kept vp all that day hid himself in a barne by one John Mohorly & in the euening he went towards Belfast where on his way he saw the bodyes of the afore mencioned persons Lyeing slaine but this examinant saith that there is one Mary Mulhollan which liueth towards Glenarme & had seuerall of her friends killed & her self wounded & after=wards tarried a while amongst them which if she
