The Examinacion & deposicion of Woona Stephens wife to John Stephens of the Irish Quarter, aged: 23 yeares or thereabouts taken before vs this 19th of Aprill: 1653
Who sayth that Turlogh Magee father to this Examinante in the second yeare of the Rebellion liued att sixe milewater & aboute Candlemas, one Andrew McIlwyan with aboute a dozen more came to the house of this Examinantes father, and tooke away all the Goods that were in the house <A> with two horsses and a Mare, and further sayth, that hee the sayd Andrew now Liueinge in Temple pattricke & the party then with him tooke the <A> sayd Turlogh Magee, father to this Examinante, forcibly from his house alsoe James Magee Brother to this Examinante, as prissoners to temple pattricke, where they were killed: & further this Examinante sayth that her mother, namely Katherin Magee with two Children followed her father to temple pattricke & were murthered there alsoe & saith that the Cause of her knowledge is that she was in the house & saw: the aforesaid Andrew McIlwyan take away her ffather & Brother, & further sayth not./
