The examinacion of John Gibbs aged 58 yeares or thereabouts of Glananye in the Countie of Antrim yeoman taken May 6th 1653
Who saith he Liued nere Benborbe in the Countie of Tyrone before the Rebellyon, where seuerall Murders were Committed and amongest the rest, John Allen and ffrancis Allen, were kild by men vnder the Comaund of Captain Bryen o Donellye now in Pryson as this Examinate was informed by Katterne Quinne a Gossipp to this examinate, and by diuers others of his Neighboures, and she told this examinate, that George Blundell his Mason, his two Sonns and seuerall others were Murdered in the Church of Benbor{be} by the said Bryen o Donellye and his Companie, and further sait{h} that the said Bryen o Donellye after liued in the said Allens house, and possessed his goods as this examinats wife who was formerlie Nurse to the said John Allen hath informed this Exam{inate} And further saith nott.
