The Examinacion of Elizabeth Hill wife to John Hill of Linestreene taken vppon oath the 3d May 1653
Who sayth that she liued at Glasmullen neere Dungannon Castle Caulfield when this Rebellion begun being then wife to Rich: Coulson husbandman whoe was afterwards murdred but by whome she doth not know. but her father John Belwod, & her Brother Steephen Belwood, being within the Garrison of Dunganan when Captain James Comanded it, they went out to their dwelling neer Castle Caulfield to looke for som things they had hid togeather with A Scotch man whose name she knowes not, & neere Captain Castle <A> Caulfield they were taken prisoners by Captain Pat: moderre o Donelly & his Companie as Robert Dale informed this Examinante whoe was then pri= <Pat: moder o Donelly> soner with them & were afterwards put to death, by the said Pat: moderre o Donelly & his Companie; & further saith that she is informed the said Robert Dale liueth now in the Newrie whoe escaped from them in a wet night, & came to Donnganon, & further sayth not,
