John Buckingham of the Parish & Burrough of Kinsale in the Barrony of Kilneleigh within the Countie of Corke Gent (a Brittish Protestant) duely sworne & examined by vertue of &c deposeth & saith That on or about Candlemasse last & since the begining of this present rebellion in Irland, hee lost, was robbed & forceably dispoiled of his goods & Chattles to the severall values following: vidzt worth 177 li. 8 s. part consisting in debts due from the vndernamed Rebels
Of Cowes, Oxen, horses & Mares at Kinsale aforesaid to the v a lue of sixtie Three pownds The deponent saith that by reason of this rebellion he is dispossessed of a house & tennement within the Parish of Ring Curhan & Countie afores a id having a Lease thereof of Eleven yeares yet to come worth aboue the Lords rent three pownds per annum he saith that in this Lease he is dampnified ffifteene pownds, In debts to the v a lue of Nintie Nine pownds Eight shillings, due from the parties whose names are vnderwritt e n vidzt

But Certainly who robbed him he knoweth not, but put supposeth it was some of the Sheriff Longs Companie, because the man that kept the Cattle one Rich Gray an Englishman was kild nere the house of the said Longe in the Countie aforesaid: & further he deposeth not
